Directed by Bay Area filmmaker Saraswati Clere and her sister Kate Clere, Yogawoman explores the global phenomenon of women & Yoga; Yoga was brought to the west from India by a lineage of male teachers. Now there’s a generation of women who are leading the way. They’re strong, they’re inspiring and they’re radically changing people’s lives. 

Led by this new breed of inspirational & dynamic teachers, modern Yoga has evolved as an outlet and means of support for millions of over-stimulated, over scheduled multitasking modern women.  This quiet revolution is has been happening in yoga studios and living rooms around the globe; women are discovering their own strength, vitality, peace and balance, through the ancient practice of Yoga.  What was once a male dominated experience has now changed….forever!
